Services

In order to best serve your visual and ocular health needs we offer the following services:

  • Recommended annually for all patients is a full ocular health evaluation, refractive testing, and binocular vision testing. This is especially important for our patients with systemic health conditions that can also effect the eyes, including diabetes and hypertension.

  • Family Vision Associates are here for your contact lens needs. Dr. Day and Dr. Lower are both experienced with a variety of contact lens options including multifocal contacts, lenses for astigmatism, and rigid gas permeable contact lenses. Our caring doctors will consider your visual needs, prescription, and lifestyle when deciding on a lens.

Whether you are a first time contact lens wearer, or hoping to resume wear after a break from contact lenses, you will be in confident hands. Contact lenses are a great option for many patients. During your exam we will discuss which contact lens options would be best for both your eyes and visual needs.

Daily replacement contact lenses are a convenient and safe way to wear contact lenses. Daily replacement lenses improve contact lens wear comfort, provide more stable vision, and decrease risk of eye infections. Everyday with daily contacts is a fresh start.

  • Increased screen time, medications, environment, and systemic health conditions can all increase the prevalence of dry eye disease. Thoroughly evaluating your ocular surface, eyelids, and eyelid margins helps to determine the best course of action for your dry eye treatment plan.

This may include lifestyle modifications, over the counter eye drops or supplements, routine care for your eyelids, prescription medications, or punctal plugs.

Dr. Lower will examine your eyes, listen to your symptoms, and discuss the best starting point for your dry eye treatment. Dry eye tends to be a chronic condition, our goal is to improve your symptoms and maintain ocular comfort.

  • Experienced opticians are experts in guiding you to your best look. Our team is knowledgeable about lens options and work closely with our doctors to help achieve clear and comfortable vision.
