Danielle C. Lower, O.D.

After graduating from Michigan College of Optometry in 2013, Dr. Lower practiced at a busy medical ophthalmology practice in Coldwater, MI. During that time, she fine tuned her skills in diagnosing and treating ocular disease. This included ocular emergencies, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, dry eye disease, and closely co-managing cataract surgeries.

In the summer of 2017 Dr. Lower and her husband relocated to southwest Michigan. She continued to diagnose and treat ocular disease while also working with primary care and contact lens patients. She is passionate about helping patients achieve comfortable vision and enjoys reviewing options with each patient. In recent years she has been diving further into treating dry eye disease. Tailoring treatment plans to fit patients' individual needs is important to her.

Originally from the Mid-Michigan area, Dr. Lower graduated from Alma College with a Bachelor’s of Science in 2009 before attending Michigan College of Optometry. She now resides in Bridgman with her husband, Adam, their two small children and family dog. When Dr. Lower is not in the office her pastimes include hiking, spending time in the kitchen cooking, reading a good novel, and traveling to visit family and friends. Most of all she loves spending time with her young family enjoying everything southwest Michigan has to offer.
